ON DEVICE

It listens for the sound, not just the word.

Apps that “listen” use basic word recognition tools. It hunts for real words in messy audio, so it accepts “thock” for “sock”. Wrong instinct for articulation practice.

SpeechTeach created a phoneme model, that runs on your device, which checks the target sound landed where it should. Your child hears encouragement either way, while you get the full detailed analytics.

EVERY NEW SOUND

Animated mouth
shows the way.

Every new sound is introduced by a 3D mouth showing exactly where lips and tongue go, so you both know what you are aiming for before the first word appears.

NO READING NEEDED

Designed for a children who can’t read yet.

Every instruction is spoken. The microphone opens by itself when the prompt ends, so there is no button a three-year-old has to work out. The words on screen are for the grown-up looking over their shoulder. Pictures, sounds and cheering do the rest.

FOR YOUR NEXT SESSION

Send it straight to your professional support.

One tap builds a report (accuracy by sound, sounds at the start of words versus the end, week over week) and bundles it with your child’s actual recordings, ready to send. Your speech pathologist sees what home practice really sounded like, instead of what anyone remembers of it.

WHAT PARENTS TALK ABOUT

Hear the improvement.

SpeechTeach keeps your child’s very first attempt at each word, and puts it next to their most recent one, with two play buttons. You don’t read a percentage and hope. You press play twice and hear the change yourself.

HOW IT BEHAVES

No pressure. No guilt. No nagging.

A word your child can’t say yet stays waiting on the map and comes back another day: they move straight on, and nothing on screen ever says “wrong”. The daily goal celebrates when you hit it and stays quiet when you don’t, because some days are like that.

WHO IT’S FOR

Children roughly 1 to 7 who are working on their speech sounds, and the grown-ups practising with them. It fits alongside what your speech pathologist has already given you.

MADE BY A DAD

Romeo is four and works on his articulation. His dad built this because the ten minutes between the therapy session and the next one is where progress is won, and a printed word list is not fun for anybody.

Your speech pathologist gave you a word list. This plays it.
